Marking this milestone anniversary means looking to the future, as Michael Gerhardson, Director of Sales and Marketing, explains: \u201cWe\u2019re in a period of transition at this point. We\u2019re looking at our customer base in-depth and considering the industries we serve. Our mission is to level up our offering through strategic investment in additional aftermarket services, as well as branching out into new territories.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Distinguishing itself from traditional job shops, Tempco Manufacturing offers end-to-end metal forming capabilities. As Michael goes on: \u201cWe provide comprehensive metal forming services, specializing in sheet metal stamping and fabrication. Because our capabilities are fully turnkey, from design support through to production and finishing, we serve as a true manufacturing partner for companies looking to outsource their metal forming operations.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cOur services are quite specialized. When you talk to the public, most people don\u2019t really understand what metal stamping is. It\u2019s similar to metal forming and fabrication, but the key difference comes down to volume. We focus on high-volume orders and large batch runs, alongside smaller, one-off custom jobs.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With metal stamping, Tempco Manufacturing works with the same precision-based tools each time, specifically punch presses. \u201cWe also have a wider range of machinery available in-house, including lasers, water jets, wire cutters, EDM, and turret presses,\u201d adds Michael. \u201cWith this equipment, we\u2019re able to produce components in up to eight different ways, depending on the design. Each process has a corresponding piece price and engineering charge.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe always provide our customers with total transparency, so they\u2019re empowered to make the right decision for them. We ask a lot of questions up-front and provide answers to any questions the client is unsure about. Not everyone is going to be an expert in metal forming, and that\u2019s completely fine. We\u2019re here to provide information and a guiding hand, as well as metal forming services.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Tempco Manufacturing often helps refine customers\u2019 manufacturing processes by asking targeted questions. \u201cFor example, we might ask them to consider why they\u2019ve chosen a particular method to produce their part &#8211; is it based on the product\u2019s lifecycle, lead times, or required durability? There\u2019s a detailed design phase, followed by pre-production and prototyping, which takes place over the course of short-, medium-, or long-run progressive quantities.
